WSA was founded in 1974 by Jacques Sabourin and Eldon Wimperis. As one of the first lighting agencies in Ottawa, our focus was on providing top notch service and technical advice. When Mario Grenier took over the business in 1990, WSA quickly became an industry leader in the Ottawa area, growing our selection of lighting brands and controls while continuously searching for new technologies and innovations to remain ahead of the curve.
Over the years, we’ve worked on thousands of commercial projects, schools, government buildings, hospitals, and warehouses, as well as condos and design builds alongside engineers, contractors, architects, and designers. As a family-focused business, it’s a “work hard, play hard” mentality in the office. Our close team loves spending time with each other in and out of the office and can often be seen hanging out Friday afternoons on our office patio!
